Scholarship Details
Scholarship to in-service teachers in Independent Chinese Schools (ICS) for a one-year Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT) with Open University Malaysia
The course is conducted in Bahasa and English
Teachers completing this course will receive a PGDT certificate, which is recognised by Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA)
Scholarship amount up to a maximum of RM5,000 per academic year per student
Application Criteria
Applicant must be a Malaysian Citizen
Applicant must have a recommendation from principal of respective ICS
Preference will be given to teachers who have served 1 year and above in ICS
Applicant must be accepted for the Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT) Programme with OUM prior to the scholarship application
Applicant from members of the immediate family of Board of Trustees of YCF, Awards Committee Member and YCF corporate secretaries / treasurers will not be considered

The programme will be organized and announced by United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong) Teachers’ Education Department
